Software Packages Available for Download
The following software packages are available for download. All are freely redistributable.
A multimedia IMAP e-mail client written in Java.
An rsend-like message server application with a variety of enhancements. This is a good example of sockets-based application programming (see
BSD Sockets: A Quick and Dirty Primer).
A JDK 1.0-based Java GUI toolkit.
A Linux version of the BSD show-process-status program, in RPM format. While not quite as detailed as the BSD version, this is still a huge improvement over the standard "ps" utility.
